The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily bulletin on Wednesday that 17 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 16,313.

It said that 17,259 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 6,196 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

The total number of people tested to date stands at 10,279,135 with 2,142,148 confirmed cases.

The bulletin said that there are 655 hospitalized cases, including 28 patients on ventilators.
