The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily bulletin on Tuesday that five people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 17,826.
It said that 9,725 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 859 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
The total number of people tested to date stands at 12,396,861 with 2,492,563 confirmed cases.
The bulletin said that there are 241 hospitalized cases, including 12 patients on ventilators.
