The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily bulletin on Tuesday that eight people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 16,837.
It said that 15,650 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 3,172 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
The total number of people tested to date stands at 10,831,594 with 2,321,849 confirmed cases.
The bulletin said that there are 554 hospitalized cases, including 21 patients on ventilators.
