The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily bulletin on Monday that eight people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 16,223.

It said that 14,532 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 5,105 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

The total number of people tested to date stands at 10,139,658 with 2,088,966 confirmed cases.

The bulletin said that there are 504 hospitalized cases, including 18 patients on ventilators.
