The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily bulletin on Thursday that nine people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 17,839.
It said that 8,362 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 906 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
The total number of people tested to date stands at 12,415,033 with 2,494,381 confirmed cases.
The bulletin said that there are 228 hospitalized cases, including 10 patients on ventilators.
