Coronavirus UPDATE: Eight deaths, 198 newly infected in Serbia
Over the last 24 hours, eight patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 9,390 tested people, 198 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
To date, COVID-19 claimed 6,938 lives with a mortality rate of 0.97 percent.
Currently, a total of 510 patients are in hospitals, of whom 20 on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 4,240,178 people have been tested, and 714,252 have been positive for the virus.
