The June 2026 poll found that six in 10 Serbians believe democracy is the best political system, but the same proportion say democracy is not working in Serbia, reflecting a loss of confidence in state institutions rather than in democracy itself.

Trust in political institutions remains low, with 35% of respondents expressing confidence in the presidency, down from 60% in early 2023. State universities are the most trusted institution, with 71% of respondents expressing confidence in them, it added.

More than half of the polled said corruption is an extremely serious problem, with 38% blaming the political system and 16% the current government.

Among decided voters, the Student List would receive 44.9% support in parliamentary elections, ahead of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) with 35.7%, while the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) would win just 3.8% of the vote and no other party would cross the electoral threshold, according to the survey.
