Outgoing Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic told the new Council of Europe (CoE) Belgrade office chief Janos Babic that Belgrade opposes Kosovo’s application for membership in that organization.
A press release said that Dacic “repeated our views on the inadmissibility of the so-called Kosovo's request for membership in the Council of Europe”.
Dacic said that Serbia is committed to the values of the CoE.
The press release quoted Babic as saying that “the goal is to continue existing and start new projects in Serbia during his mandate, with the support of this organisation”.
