Dacic: Convictions confirm KLA was criminal organization

“The conviction of Hashim Thaci, Jakup Krasniqi, Kadri Veseli and Rexhep Selimi represents a clear, albeit belated, confirmation of what Serbia and the Serbian people have been saying loudly for more than a quarter of a century - that the so-called KLA was a criminal and terrorist organization,” he said but added that “as a state and a people that have suffered enormous losses, we cannot be completely satisfied with the verdict”.

He said that the fact that the trial chamber rejected parts of the indictment on crimes against humanity “is a scandalous political maneuver and a direct insult to all innocent victims” … and “a cowardly attempt to downplay the scale of the suffering of the Serbian people and to hide the obvious, systematic and monstrous plan of complete ethnic cleansing and the eradication of the Serbian presence in Kosovo".
