Dacic denies opposition claims of police force against students

Democratic Party (DS) leader Srdjan Milivojevic said earlier that Vucic ordered the use of police force against students. Milivojevic’s X post welcomed what he said was Dacic’s decision tom resist the Vucic brothers and show that the police is under his command and not the Mafia’s who are above the state and the law.

Dacic called the claims complete fabrication harmful to the public and the police and an attempt to create the impression that the president commands the police and cause fear, panic and a lack of trust in the ministry and police and an attempt to use the situation for daily political purposes.

The minister said that the police have acted fully in line with the law and were restrained and professional to the maximum.
