Dacic: Opposition wanted to provoke police reaction

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic accused the opposition of wanting to provoke a reaction by the police during the protests against election fraud.
Speaking live on the pro-regime TV Pink morning show, the leader of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) said that the opposition “attempt to take power by force” does not have the energy required.
According to Dacic, the opposition miscalculated from the moment that they demanded early elections, adding that the Serbia Against Violence coalition does not have the support of the public, especially not since the protests which turned violent in front of Belgrade City Hall.
He said that the opposition want to present themselves as the victims of the use of force and election irregularities.
