Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic said that Serbia’s official position on the Franco-German plan for resolving the Kosovo issue is very clear and responsible – that Serbia wants to continue the dialogue, to take part in it and that everything should be discussed on the basis of this plan.

The Minister told reporters in Belgrade that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has explicitly said what the red lines are, that is, what is unacceptable to Serbia, and that is Kosovo’s membership in the United Nations.

„That is very important, because I have also had the opportunity to hear assessments in Brussels that, unlike Pristina, Vucic acted constructively and responsibly and I think it is very important that we try to preserve our state and national interests, as well as Serbia, from various threats, blackmail, possible sanctions and anything that could threaten the future of the Serbian citizens,“ said Dacic.
