Dacic: With request to KFOR, we clear things up regarding Resolution 1244

Serbia’s Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic stated that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and the government will try to "clear things up" before the international community with their request to KFOR for the return of members of the Serbian Armed Forces to Kosovo and find out whether the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 has been fully implemented.

"We know that these are rhetorical questions, that is, we know the answer to them in advance. Just as they are now trying to present that the Brussels Agreement does not exist, that is how they are behaving in relation to Resolution 1244," said Dacic for Radio Television of Serbia.
He added that by requesting the return of the Serbian army and police to the north, Serbia wants to indicate that there is an obligation of the international community to protect all citizens of Kosovo.
Asked about the biggest pressures on Serbia so far, which, according to Vucic, will follow when Kosovo applies for EU membership on December 15, Dacic said that it will probably be a "condensation of different types of pressures," to accept the situation on the ground, some final agreement that would imply the recognition of Kosovo and the approval of Kosovo's membership in the EU and the Council of Europe.
