Day 8 of the University in Rebellion protest

Professors, students and members of the general public have been blocking the intersection in front of the Serbian government headquarters since June 9, demanding the government revoke its decree cutting their salaries for as long as no classes are held among other things.

The protesters said they would continue their road block until other demands are also met and added that the protests could become more radical. Nova.rs said they have been making plans in agreement with their students.

Veterans and bikers have been staying overnight with the protesting professors.
