The Serbian government declared Saturday, November 2 a day of mourning for the deaths in the collapse of a concrete roof at Novi Sad railway station.
“The Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted a decision to declare 2 November 2024 as the Day of Mourning in the territory of the Republic of Serbia over the tragic loss of lives in the collapse of the railway station structure in Novi Sad, bearing in mind the scale of the accident and its impact on Novi Sad and Serbia as a whole,” a press release said.
