Death threats to podcast's authors in Serbia, prosecutors investigate

Marko Vidojkovic, a well-known writer and Nenad Kulacin, a journalist, the authors of the podcast 'Good, Bad, Evil' broadcast on the Nova.rs portal, have received death threats after one of them cursed at Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic.
They reported to a prosecutor six threats so far, which included a bullet in the forehead and slaughtering
According to Nova.rs, the threats began after Vidojkovi cursed Vucic in a podcast, followed by the regime media accusations he swore at President's mother.
Vidojkovic, who said he had been banned from promoting books anywhere for some time, denied it.
"We filed criminal charges about the threats. We had six threats in two days, four have already been processed, and the prosecutor called us to confirm if we felt threatened. We sent two new threats to (Independent Association of Serbia's Independent Journalists) NUNS to forward them to the prosecutor's office. I received insults and threatening comments mostly below the podcast's texts on social networks." he told Nova.rs.
The Deputy Republic Public Prosecutor Branko Stamenkovic said the current cases his office was handling include new threats addressed to Vidojkovicand Kulacin. At a meeting with Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and the Standing Group for Protection and Safety of Journalists, he added Serbia’s authorities demanded the Austrian counterparts to locate a person identified as posting threats from that country.
Vidojkovic added it was clear that it was an organised campaign of intimidation.
"They (the authorities) are campaigning, and their hyenas are getting angry and threatening with murder and violence. I think the goal is to intimidate, threaten, and put the podcast's authors and members of their families living under some kind of house arrest. We cannot know what someone may do seeing us in the street to defend the Führer," he said.
Kulacin added that "the threats range from slaughter to bullet to the forehead, a complete range of death threats. The threats also apply to our families. It is going on since the state TV broadcast a part of our podcast, in which Marko had a special message for the President. From that moment on, we have been receiving countless threats."
"There is no way to silence us; the only way is to remove us physically. Interestingly, a good part of those threats is from Vienna, Zurich, Mojkovac (a town in northern Montenegro)... It seems that the 'Serbian world' of (Interior Minister) Aleksandar Vulinhas started to bear fruit," Kulacin said.
