Defense Ministry: Rotation of SAF teams in EU mission in Somalia

The Serbian Ministry of Defense said that a regular rotation of Serbian Armed Forces (SAF) members engaged in the European Union Training Mission (EUTM) in Somalia has been conducted.

The press release said that the SAF contingent in Somalia consists of a staff officer appointed as head of the medical service at the Mission HQ and a five-member medical team in charge of medical training support and primary medical protection of international forces stationed at Mogadishu Airport.

The Serbian Armed Forces has been participating in EUTM Somalia since 2012, and more than 120 doctors and medical technicians have been deployed in this mission so far.
