DefMin says Serbia to continue investing in military

He told graduates of the School of Security Studies and Advanced General Staff studies that the investment in the armed forces is intended to keep the state and people safe.

“Europe is in a state of uncertainty which was unimaginable. We are witness to messages indicating crises and wars, many countries are increasing their military budget and preparing for long-lasting conflicts,” Gasic said, recalling that Serbia is firmly committed to military neutrality and wants good relations with every other country.

He added that Serbia does not rely on military alliances but only on its own forces and the unity of the military and people.
