Doctors knocked down by driver at protest

The incident is one of several when drivers alleged to be supporters of the ruling party and president tried to drive through protest gatherings.

Videos on social media showed the car rushing through the group of doctors standing in front of the Mental Health Institute in a central section of the Serbian capital.

The car was stopped just meters away where other cars were stopped for the 15 Minutes of Silence tribute to the victims of the Novi Sad Railway Station tragedy.

A video post on X showed two young men in the car which had Smederevo license plates.
