US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Karen Donfried said the withdrawal of the Serb List from Kosovo’s institutions is not a solution and described the recent events in Kosovo as concerning, reported RTK.
Donfried called for the alleviation of tensions and for the implementation of the signed agreements.
Serbia and Kosovo need to implement the agreements they have reached, said Donfried, adding that the US welcomed the Franco-German proposal.
We think there is room for progress. The US believes that the recent events are concerning, withdrawal from institutions is not a solution, Donfried said.
She stressed that the US and the European Union are committed to resolving the problems through dialogue and urged all sides to take steps towards peace and stability.
