A 3.8 magnitude earthquake shook the area around the Serbian city of Krusevac on Tuesday night, the national Seizmological Survey said.
“An earthquake of 3.8 degrees on the Richter scale was registered on May 5 at the town of Deligrad, 16 kilomteres northeast of Krusevac… Earthquakes of this intensity can cause slight damage on buildings,” a press release on the Seizmological Survey web site said.
Earlier on Tuesday, a lesser earthquake of 2.6 degrees was recorded near the western Serbia city of Cacak, the Seizmological Survy said.
