Eight people who took part in the EuroPride parade have been banned from returning to Serbia, the Internal Affairs Ministry (MUP) said on Friday.

The press release said that the eight people committed “offenses against public morals”.

It said that police and prosecutors identified a Turkish and Italian national who are suspected of inciting national, racial and religious hatred, adding that criminal charges have been filed against them and arrest warrants issued.

The MUP said investigations are underway against individuals who published extremist messages and threats against the LGBT community and the EuroPride 2022 Info Center on social media.
