Employment up, unemployment down Serbian statistics office says

The RZS said that the number of people in employment was 2,869,700 in the first quarter with 341,400 people registered as unemployed bringing the unemployment rate to 10.6 percent.

The employment rate is 3 percent higher than in the same period a year earlier and the unemployment rate dropped by 2.2 percent. The number of people registered as employed rose by 147,500 and the number of unemployed dropped by 58,000, the RZS said.
