EU accession Operational Team holds first meeting

A government press release said that the meeting, chaired by Ambassador Danijel Apostolovic who heads Serbia’s mission to the EU, discussed the opening of clusters 2 and 3, meeting the requirements in Chapter 23 and 24, preparations for cluster 6 and the recommendations in the European Commission’s annual report on Serbia’s progress.

It said that the team discussed priorities, methods and plans of activities in the negotiation process with the EU. The team will meet regularly and “actively contribute to strengthening institutional capacities and speeding up the process of Serbia’s accession to the EU”.
