EU Ambassador says window of opportunity opened

Speaking online to a gathering Spain’s EU Presidency and the coming Belgian Presidency, the EU Delegation chief said that those countries should use the opportunity during the next six months.

He said the growth plan for the Western Balkans means a gradual integration of countries and added that it is not a replacement for expansion but can speed up the process. He welcomes the continued expansion of the EU to include the Western Balkans.
