European Union Delegation chief Emanuele Giaufret presented the Serbian health care system with 26 vehicles equipped to transport vaccine on Tuesday.
The donation is intended to resolve logistics problems facing 24 health care facilities across the country. The handover was attended by President Aleksandar Vucic who said that the vehicles worth more than half a million Euro would allow the health care system to transport vaccine without having to rent special vehicles. “We can now transport vaccine to the most remote areas of Serbia within 10 hours,” he said.
Vucic repeated his appeal for the population to get vaccinated.
