
European Union Ambassador Emanuel Giaufret said on Thursday evening that a European Parliament delegation was in Belgrade as part of democracy support activities.
Giaufret said in a Twitter post that European Parliament Rapporteur for Serbia Vladimir Bilcik MEP, Committee on Foreign Affairs member Matjaz Nemec MEP had arrived with former MEPs Knut Fleckenstein and Lojze Peterle.
“They arrived in Belgrade in the framework of democracy support activities, and as a follow up on their visits in September 2022 and January 2023,” the EU Delegation chief wrote.
