
Members of a European Parliament delegation paid their respects at the school where eight children and a security guard were killed on Friday.
European Parliament rapporteur for Serbia Vlado Bilcik and Matjaz Nemec MEP and former MEPS Knut Felckenstein and Lojze Peterle laid flowers at the school fence where people lit candles and left flowers and toys for days after the first of two mass shootings early in May.

European Union Delegation chief Emanuel Giaufret said in a Twitter post on Thursday that they are in Belgrade “in the framework of democracy support activities, and as a follow up on their visits in September 2022 and January 2023”.
