EU's Lajčák: First meeting of Belgrade–Pristina working group on license plates

A working group of expert delegations from Belgrade and Pristina composed to resolve the issue of license plates held its first meeting in Brussels on Thursday, expected to present concrete conclusions in six months, the European Union's special representative for dialogue Miroslav Lajčák said on Twitter.

According to him, the meeting was held following the agreement reached on September 30, and his advisors chair the Working Group.

With the mediation of the European Union, the delegations of Pristina and Belgrade reached an agreement on license plates and unblocking of roads to the crossings in the north of Kosovo.

Within that agreement, stickers were introduced as a temporary measure to resolve the issue of license plates until a permanent solution was agreed by the working group composed of representatives of the EU, Belgrade and Pristina in six months.
