Finance Ministry claims budget deficit lower than planned

A press release said that the deficit was 827 million Euro less than the planned 1.27 billion Euro.

It said that in June alone, the budget recorded a surplus of roughly 411 million Euro, with revenues reaching about 2.37 billion Euro and expenditures totaling around 1.96 billion Euro.

The Finance Ministry also reported a fiscal deficit of approximately 477 million Euro in the first half of the year, and a primary fiscal surplus of around 268 million Euro.
