FinMin Mali: Budget rejection would topple Government

Mali told the pro-government Pink TV that the opposition’s request for a vote of no confidence in the Government is absurd, explaining that if the budget is not approved, the government will fall.

Speaking to pro-government Pink TV, Mali dismissed the opposition’s call for a vote of no confidence in the Government, explaining that, if the budget is not approved, the Government will fall.

“The citizens of Serbia witnessed the opposition’s behavior yesterday. They tried to make up for their lack of policy with violence,” Mali said.

He also pointed out that when it was time to honor the victims of the Novi Sad tragedy, opposition members “urinated on the city assembly and tore up flags.”

Mali added that the new bridge on the site of the Old Sava Bridge in Belgrade will be completed by the end of 2026, as everything must be ready for the Expo 2027 specialized exhibition.
