Firefighters rescued a baby Saturday who was alone in a car parked in front of a shopping center in Belgrade, during a heat wave.

The „Blic“ daily wrote that citizens informed the firefighters on Saturday that there was a baby in a parked car in front of the shopping center, and that the firefighters, upon arriving at the scene, broke the glass and pulled the baby out unharmed.

The baby was later handed over to the parents.

Record high temperatures were measured in Serbia on Saturday, and it was significantly hotter in the car, which is why there were tragic outcomes in some neighbouring countries.
