Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic opened the Morava Corridor, which will connect the Rasin, Raska and Morava districts, which is inhabited by some half a million people.

The first section of the large infrastructure project from Pojat to Makresan has been completed, while the traffic will be established during the day.

“It is important for us to show that we can build even in difficult times,” said Vucic, RTS reported.

He thanked the companies that participated in the construction of the Corridor.

“This is not a small thing for people. People will also feel the improvement through new investments. It is important for us to show that we can build even in difficult times,” Vucic said.

According to him, there is a 4G and 5G network available on this highway, which is the widest highway in Serbia, and it will be possible to travel at a speed of up to 130 kilometers per hour.

On this occasion, Vucic has also announced that by the end of the year, both pensions and salaries will be higher.

He said that the most important thing is that this big investment brings new investors and brings back the people who went abroad.

“Building a new road is like building a new world,” said Vucic and noted that we should set the highest goals.

He pointed out that the highway will be open for traffic in six hours.

As Tanjug news agency reported, Vucic said that a total of 16 highways are being built or are in the design phase in Serbia, which, according to him, is not being built by anyone in Europe.
