First snow causes traffic jams

Heavy traffic moved slowly across all bridges linking the old and new parts of the city with major congestion in central parts of Belgrade.

The traffic police called drivers to exercise caution on the wet and slippery roads. A press release from the Internal Affairs Ministry (MUP) said that drivers should lower their speed, make sure they have winter tires, keep a distance from other cars and watch out for pedestrians and bicycle riders.
