Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Goran Vesic said on Monday that all restrictions on air traffic between Serbia and China had been lifted.

A government press release said that a memorandum was signed allowing free air transport between the two countries, including flight sharing. Vesic said that there is no restriction on the number of flights and use of other airlines.

“The essence of this memorandum is that there is a „free sky“ between China and Serbia. In the future, more flights to China are expected, not only the existing two that Chinese airlines have to Belgrade and one a week that from Belgrade,” Vesic is quoted as saying.

He added that large number of tourists and business people from China are expected to come to Serbia along with a large number of Serbians going to China.
