Former Serbian Health Minister Danica Grujicic voiced her support for student protesters, reported the Belgrade daily Danas.

When asked if her presence in Kragujevac during the protest indicates supports for the students’ demands, she briefly replied, “Yes,” Danas reported.

Grujicic was seen in Kragujevac on Saturday, February 15, during a mass protest organized by Serbian students.

Grujicic, a renowned neurosurgeon and former director of the Serbian Institute for Radiology and Oncology, was on the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) ticket, and served as Health Minister from 2022 to mid-2024.
