Four defendants sentenced to total of 22 years in Oliver Ivanovic murder case

Defendant Marko Rosic has been given a 10-year prison sentence and fined with 10,000 euros, while Dragisa Markovic, Zarko Jovanovic, and Nedeljko Spasojevic have each been sentenced to four years in prison.

Silvana Arsovic and Rade Basara have been acquitted.

No indictments were filed against the perpetrators and those who ordered the murder of Ivanovic, but against persons allegedly involved in an organized criminal group that participated in Ivanovic’s murder.

Kosovo Serb politician Oliver Ivanovic was gunned down outside his party headquarters in Kosovska Mitrovica on January 16, 2018.

The trial in this case began in July 2021.
