Go-Change announces civil disobedience if Belgrade Fair is not saved

In the opposite, the government will be faced with civil disobedience, said Go-Change.

Leader of the Fair team Angelina Jokic sent a message to the authorities saying that the Belgrade fair must remain one of the city’s landmarks, that its demolition must not be allowed which is why the petition, titled “Protect the Fair. Demolition of Belgrade Must Stop,” has been launched.

Architect Zorica Rancic called on her colleagues and all others to help protect Belgrade’s identity.

“We all want Belgrade to develop, but sustainable development is not about demolishing everything at all costs in order to build something, but about preserving one's cultural identity and all that is of value. There are plenty of places to build in Belgrade,” said Rancic.
