Graffiti targeting N1 on Ministry building, no reaction from Ministry

N1 TV is often targeted by those who do not like free, independent and truthful reporting. Flyers tossed into N1’s yard, in our mailboxes, insulting and threatening messages on social networks are all something that often happens, while similar messages also appear on the walls of buildings. However, what is unusual in this case is that one such graffiti has been painted on a state institution building and that no one has removed it.

N1’s reporter said she has sent an email to the Ministry asking whether they were aware of the fact that there is a graffiti targeting a media outlet on their building, but added that she has not received a reply.

“I cannot say how long the graffiti has been here, whether for months, or if it was painted in March. We don’t know when it was done and whether it will be removed,” said N1’s reporter, adding:

“It is interesting that state institutions often opt not to communicate with us, yet they allow for someone to communicate with us this way using their building.”
