Grbovic: Bilcik did vote for EP Resolution, I made a mistake

Movement of Free Citizens leader Pavle Grbovic told N1 that he made a mistake when he said in an X post from Strasbourg on Thursday that European Parliament (EP) Rapporteur for Serbia Vladimir Bilcik voted against the EP Resolution on Serbian elections, adding he was sorry he made the mistake.

Grbovic said he released this information right after the vote and that he arrived at this conclusion looking at the seating plan and voting screen.

“Bilcik did vote for the Resolution, I made a mistake and I am sorry,” said Grbovic.

He said he is glad Bilcik revised his positions at least to some extent, adding that the EP Rapporteur for Serbia was one of the strongest advocates of the idea not to debate Serbian election irregularities in the European Parliament.

Editor of the European Western Balkans portal Aleksandar Ivkovic posted on X a report on the vote in the EP showing that Bilcik voted in favor of the Resolution.
