Gunmen intercept money transport, get away with 2 mln Euro

The transport was intercepted on a regional road between the cities of Raska and Novi Pazar and the driver and escort were forced out at gunpoint. The police found the gunmen’s vehicle, which had been reported stolen, on fire several kilometers away, the Sandzak Danas portal said.

The portal said the police from both Raska and Novi Pazar searched the are and set up checkpoints. Police sources said that robbery was done by an organized group and was well planned with knowledge of the transport’s route and schedule.
