Head of cultural protection agency pleads guilty, court rejects detention request

Goran Vasic, the acting director of the Serbian Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments, pleaded guilty before the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime to forging a document that proposed revoking the cultural heritage status of the General Staff complex in Belgrade.
