Kosovo MP and former cabinet minister Enver Hoxhaj said on Wednesday that Kosovo and Serbia need to recognize each other for the sake of peace in the region.

“It is urgent to achieve mutual recognition agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, providing the whole region with peace, stability and predictability! We are in a Zeitwende that requires leadership & statesmanship,” Hoxhaj said in a Twitter post after a meeting with the European Union’s envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak at the European Forum Alpbach.
