Hungarian military personnel are being trained to deal with toxic chemicals at a Serbian military training center, the Serbian Defense Ministry said.

The Hungarian officers and enlisted men from the 93rd nuclear, chemical, biological defense battalion are deployed at the Serbian military Ravnjak training grounds outside the city of Krusevac for training by personnel from the Atomic-Biological-Chemical Defense (ABHO) Center.

The five-day training will improve their knowledge of toxic chemicals, protection measures and ways of dealing with them, the press release said, adding that the training includes detection, decontamination of ground, weapons and equipment and medical aid.

The ABHO center has been providing training for foreign military personnel since 2016.
