Hunger strike mother taken to hospital
Hunger striker Dijana Hrka was taken to a private hospital in Belgrade by the war veterans who have been watching over her since she started her protest.
Hrka has been on hunger strike for 11 days demanding accountability for the death of her son and 15 others in the collapse of a concrete canopy at Novi Sad Railway Station on November 1, 2024.
Video posts showed them helping her into a car and helping her out and into a wheelchair at a Medigroup hospital. Medigroup said that she was admitted and that she was given therapy due to her deteriorated health.
Hrka was reported to have returned to her place in front of parliament where she has been protesting.
