Inflation in Kosovo above 14 per cent

The Kosovo Agency of Statistics said that the annual inflation rate measured in June 2022 to June 2021 was 14.1%.

Compared to May 2022 prices of fuels went by 15.4 per cent and, compared to June 2021 by 67.3 per cent.

The Agency said there was also an increase in consumer prices in the following subgroups: bread and cereals (27.7%), meat (19.6%), milk, cheese and eggs (22.3%), edible oils and fats (53.8%), vegetables (6.8%) , sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and sweets (19.0%), various food products, sauces, spices, salt, baby food, etc. (12.8%), coffee, tea and cocoa (17.9%), mineral water, soft drinks, fruit and vegetable juices (6.2%), alcoholic beverages (7.0%), tobacco (4.8 %), ordinary household maintenance (11.0%), gas (39.3%), solid fuels, firewood, pellets, etc. (33.6%).
