Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar discussed the security situation in Kosovo with EULEX mission chief Giovanni Pietro Barbano, a press release said on Thursday.
It said that Taoiseach Varadkar was also briefed on the European Union rule of law mission’s mandate and activities.
Varadkar visited the EULEX mission’s Support Compound in Kosovo Polje and inspected an honor guard which included EULEX police and reserve police units. He also met with the Irish EULEX contingent.
