Jacimovic bus seized again

Milomir Jacimovic, who has been arrested and had buses seized over the past year, told N1 that he is being charged with disturbing the peace. He said the protest in that Vojvodina town was an expression of dissatisfaction over the fact that he was not allowed to pick up a bus for maintenance. The police told him that the chasis number is being checked by Interpol which could take up to 3 months leaving him without a means to earn a living.

One of the people at the protest said that Jacimovic was the only one arrested.

The police seized Jacimovic’s buses several times, the latest on November 5 when a bus and a minibus were taken from him for allegedly faulty lights. He has been ferrying students to and from protests almost from the start.
