KFOR commander Italian Major General Angelo Michele Ristuccia paid a farewell visit to Serbian chief of staff General Milan Mojsilovic, a Defense Ministry press release said on Tuesday.
General Ristuccia is due to hand over command of the NATO-led force in October.
The press release said that they discussed the current security situation in Kosovo and cooperation between the Serbian military and KFOR.
“They assessed that the situation in the province is still unstable and stressed that the professional cooperation between the Army of Serbia and KFOR at all levels in the previous period was in the function of lowering tension on the ground and preventing an escalation of the crisis,” it said.
