KFOR said on Wednesday that its commander Major General Ozkan Ulutas went to Mt Kopaonik to meet with Serbian Chief of General Staff General Milan Mojsilovic to discuss the security situation.

A KFOR press release said that they shared views on the overall security situation and its impact on regional stability, as well as on cooperation activities, including synchronized patrols along the Administrative Boundary Line.

A Serbian Defense Ministry press release said that they discussed the security situation in Kosovo and effects of activities to monitor the situation and prevent a deterioration. It said that they expressed mutual commitment to maintaining peace and stability.

Mojsilovic is quoted as saying that the situation in Kosovo is unstable and adding that Pristina’s unilateral activities are a threat to security. He also called KFOR to prevent any attempt to endanger the Kosovo Serbs.
